365 Cards: Day 74

I've been in a bit of a creative rut the last week or so (which is why I haven't posted anything... didn't like most of what I made. haha). But yesterday I spent several hours working on some projects (which i might post later) trying to get the creative juices flowing again. Good thing too, cuz I had a friend from church ask me to make a Mother's Day card for her.

Do you like your handwriting? Some days I do, some days I don't. It's a little sporadic. Today wasn't too bad, so I decided it'd be alright to use it on the Mom's Day card I needed to make. It also means I have something for 365 Cards' challenge for today. I wrote the sentiment with my handy-dandy ZIG embossing pen, then used white embossing powder. Here's how it turned out:

i really adore this creation. the colors are just so powerful (they way I like it) and i love your writing. i have never seen an embossing pen before. they look really cool! did you just get it at a local store or online? just a fabulous card and one of my favs for today!
